Executive PC Support is a comprehensive consulting and computer service company that provides for all of your computer needs.  Whether it be simple computer maintenance, networking with a cable modem or other computers and printers, or elaborate video surveillance systems that can be accessed remotely, we can provide you with the expertise you need.  Our clients range from CEOs of large corporations, to large and small businesses; from the corner veterinary hospital to the local church and firehouse; from Department of Defense contractors to the everyday home user.  We provide on-site service to address your computer and software issues where they exist.

Building a new office?  Adding an addition to your house or finishing your basement?  Building a new house?  Don't forget to put in the Category 6 wiring to connect all of your computers before they close up the walls!

I provide pre-construction (planning with architects) and on-site consulting during construction to make sure that your computers can network easily by plugging into a wall jack next to desks and they connect to a cable or DSL modem with little fuss and bother.  I then follow up when construction is done by installing the necessary computer hardware and configure all of the computers on the network.   Another common service that I provide is for new home owners who discover their houses are wired for computers.  I take that mess of wires that are hanging in the basement, connect them all together and make it work.

Maintenance...  maintenance...  maintenance...

The most common service that people are asking me for is to "speed up my computer."  This involves basic maintenance, including removing unused programs and temporary files, and installing the latest critical updates from Microsoft.  In some instances, the first service packs for Windows XP can be as large as 225MB!  Quite a daunting task for a dial-up connection.  Have no fear.  I perform this procedure every day, and your computer can have a tune up and be running at its peak speed with about an hour or two of my time.

Is your computer manufacturer telling you that you have to wipe out your hard drive?
If so, you may not have to do it.  I regularly reinstall Windows operating systems and leave all of the files on the hard drive intact.  As an alternative (especially in the case of viruses run amok), I can copy your important files off the computer, wipe it clean, reinstall Windows, and put all of your files back.  I usually perform this task overnight.

AOL 9
I am also doing a lot of uninstalling of AOL 9.0.  If you have upgraded and are experiencing problems, or you are thinking of it -- don't.  It takes over your computer, changes hardware settings, and is keeping me very busy.  Stick with AOL 8.0.
